Terrell M. Hill Ph.D,
Board Member

Dr. Terrell M. Hill has worked in the areas of Equity and Diversity as a consultant and warrior for over 20 years. He is currently the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources for Windsor Public Schools.  He is also an adjunct faculty member for UCAPPS (administrator preparation program) in the Neag School of Education.  Previously, Dr. Hill was the founding Principal of High School, Inc.; Hartford’s Insurance and Finance Academy.  He recently founded Black Leaders and Administrators Consortium, Inc. (BLAC) to support the career progression of leaders of color.  He earned his PhD in Educational Policy and Leadership at UMASS Amherst.  Dr. Hill also serves on the Board of Trustees, at Westfield State University, and also the JA Southwest New England Board of Directors.  He is also a proud United States Army veteran.  Dr. Hill is passionate about seeing America live up to its claims of justice and equality for all.  He understands that “power” concedes nothing… without a fight. 

 

  “America has yet to fulfill on its promises to all of its citizens- RE·Center is an organization that I believe is working to ensuring this”. When he isn’t working, Dr. Hill loves to travel, and the insight it brings him to all the differences and similarities of people around the world. He also lives by the wised words of his hero/mother “if you see a problem, don’t just complain about it- do something about it”. Dr. Hill focuses all of his efforts in life on exactly that: something about it!
