Elisa Del Valle
Vice Chair of the Board of the Directors & Chair of the Governance Committee

Elisa Del Valle has been an educator for 15 years with experience in Higher Education and Secondary School. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Smith College and a master’s degree in Social Justice Education from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Social justice is not just a passion for Elisa; it is a calling into work that will leave the world more just than she found it.

Elisa’s inspiration to serve on the RE·Center board comes from her love of education and young people. The work of RE·Center is essential in framing equity and race in educational frameworks.

Fun to Elisa is sleeping, as there is often not enough time for rest. Elisa wants the community to know that she is passionate and dedicated to racial justice and to helping young people understand their power and voice in creating change for justice.
