Amelia Allen Sherwood is a Black queer mother and anti-bias & anti-racist educator on Quinnipiac land but you may know it as New Haven, CT. She is the vision holder of Sankofa Learning Center, a high-quality early childhood program that uses Montessori pedagogy as a tool, Black Homeschooling Collective, and healing hub for the community.
