Racial Justice Strategist & Coach (Consultant)
Jillian McRae (she/her/hers) has been a public school English teacher for twenty years and an instructional coach for the past three years. She has co-created and co-taught several college level courses during her tenure at Ossining High School including: SUNY: Classism, Racism, Sexism; The Black Experience through Literature & History; Concepts of Race & Culture in the Modern World; and Latinos in the U.S. She is also currently serving as the co-coordinator for district equity work for the Ossining School District with a focus on Culturally Responsive + Sustaining Practices in secondary spaces. She has an undergraduate degree in English with a double minor in Urban Education and Africana Studies from the University at Albany and a Masters in English Education from Teachers College.
