Racial Justice Strategist & Coach (Consultant)


Cathleen Antoine-Abiala (she/her/hers) is an equity coach and independent consultant, leading numerous projects on culturally responsive education and fostering critical consciousness. Cathleen facilitates workshops, works closely with leadership teams, and community-based organizations to engage in bringing about deeper, more meaningful, and lasting change in organizational culture, practices and policies.

She has worked on various projects with NYU Metropolitan Center for Research on Equity and Transformation in Schools-Center for Strategic Solutions, NYCDOE, Restorative Practice NYC and True North EDI among others to facilitate conversations about equity, diversity and inclusion. 

Cathleen draws on her work as an educator, producer, writer and media artist to engage participants in thought-provoking and impactful experiences that help enhance their ability to see their role in addressing the challenges of race, power, and privilege in the workplace. Cathleen holds a masters degree in Sociology of Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
